A thin, flat slab of patterned metal is suspended by cord. The two sides have different markings, so as to make the necklace 'reversible'. A dark patina, in the recesses, emphasises the inscribed markings. Britannia metal (lead-free pewter) on silver-grey pure silk cord (double strand), with a simple organic-shaped toggle clasp. Should you wish for the cord length to be made permanently shorter, simply make a new knot, on both ends, at the length that you'd like it, and cut off the excess cord.
